About
I’m Zach Leontiou, founder and lead mentor at Ethos Admit. I graduated from Brown University with a degree in Computational Biology and will be attending the University of Michigan Medical School. Over the past five years, I’ve worked closely with students and families across the country and internationally, helping them navigate academics, standardized testing, college admissions, and the increasingly complex path toward careers in medicine and other competitive fields.I founded Ethos Admit to provide the kind of mentorship I wish I had growing up—guidance that is thoughtful, deeply personalized, and grounded in real experience. While strong results matter, I believe meaningful mentorship goes far beyond scores and admissions outcomes. The most successful students are not simply the ones who work the hardest, but the ones who learn how to think critically, build confidence, manage pressure, and develop a genuine sense of direction in their academic lives. As both a tutor and mentor, my approach combines high-level academic strategy with individualized support tailored to each student’s learning style, personality, strengths, and goals. Whether I’m helping a student prepare for the SAT/ACT, navigate rigorous coursework, craft compelling application essays, or map out a long-term pre-med trajectory, my goal is always the same: to help students move forward with clarity, confidence, and purpose.Having scored a perfect 36 on the ACT and earned a 94th percentile MCAT score, I understand firsthand the demands of competitive academic environments. More importantly, I understand that every student’s path is different. There is no universal blueprint for success, which is why I prioritize adaptability, trust, and mentorship that feels genuinely personal rather than transactional. At Ethos Admit, students receive more than tutoring—they gain a mentor, advocate, and long-term partner invested in their growth both inside and outside the classroom.

Zach meticulously revised my personal essay drafts, helping me refine my ideas to their fullest potential. With expertise spanning various high school subjects and the college admissions process, Zach serves as an invaluable mentor and a reliable source of support throughout your high school journey."

--------------------------------------------------Over the past five years, I’ve had the privilege of working closely with students of all backgrounds—each with their own story, strengths, and ambitions. Together, we’ve navigated essays, deadlines, and doubts—and I’ve watched those efforts turn into real results.Students I’ve worked with have been admitted to schools like Princeton, Penn, Cornell, Brown, Johns Hopkins, Northwestern, Georgetown, NYU, Michigan, UNC, University of Miami, and Northeastern, not just because they had the stats, but because they had a clear, authentic story—and the confidence to tell it well. I’m grateful for every student who has trusted me to be part of their journey.
